Day 1

So we DID NOT get off to the best of starts!! We were able to get on the road at about 11 made it about 20 miles when David pulled over because the truck was over temperature. We talked for awhile and decided that t=it was just to old and to heavy to pull the trailer with the Honda. We took the Honda back to my parents house and left it with the hopes that Dad and Mom could drive it out to us in a few weeks. So we head out again but this time about an hour and a half down the road the truck is still running to hot and the engine actually turned off. It has a sensor that will cut the engine if it gets too hot.
So we talked at a little gas station for about an hour wondering if we should:
A: Go back rent a truck move everything to the new truck and try again, this would mean we must wait until our house closes escrow before we have enough money to pay for a rental truck or
B: Baby the truck we have that we just put a ton of time and money into swapping out the engine, and try to make it.
Of course we wanted option A we didn't want another super emotional goodbye and we were wondering just how log this delay might be... Will we be able to make it in plenty of time to start David's new job?? Also who want to spend another $3k on a different truck. But we knew that we had to go with option B
So we are still here in Arizona
