We did it!!! We are on the road and Day 1 has so far gone great we got a late start and didn't leave until 3:30 but we made good time and landed in our first hotel by 11pm.
We had our sad goodbyes again and Drove and drove. We finally stopped for dinner at 8:30 and ate on an outdoor patio area so the dogs could be with us. There was a man out there eating his super with a super funny talkative cockatoo. The kids got a big kick out of that!!
