Elklunta

Today we explored one of the remaining parts of Elklunta. It was great fun and we did learn a great deal from the trip. Grandpa drove us all there in the motor home and everyone loved that! I must admit it was great to travel in, me and Kathryn got to sit on the bed because of of the amount of seat belts, definitely the way to travel. There are a large graveyard with Sprirt houses, some were quite interesting. We even saw the original church that was built in the early 1800s. There is a newer church now that was built in the late 1900s, 1960 I believe. They still hold a monthly service there as well. Overall it was a great day.
